North Star Independent was created in 2017 with the purpose of providing young musicians in Southeast Idaho an avenue to continue honing their marching arts skills during the winter season while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. We have members from all over the state of Idaho who make the journey to Idaho Falls to learn from our staff. The 2023 season culminated with WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio where we competed against 14 other Independent A ensembles from across the country and brought home the bronze medal!

This activity is costly. We try to offset the cost of member tuition with donations from the community. We would appreciate your support in helping to sustain our participation in the activity. All donations raised over the summer will go towards equipment and trailer maintenance. Your donations support the financial health of our organization.
